    Develop validated steady-state models (distillation, reaction, heat integration). Reconcile with test runs and plant historian data where available.

  • 03PFDs, H&MB, and Equipment Sizing

    PFDs, H&MB, and Equipment Sizing

    Create Process Flow Diagrams and Heat & Material Balance. Size columns, exchangers, pumps, reactors; define utilities.

  • 04P&IDs, Control Philosophy & Safeguarding

    P&IDs, Control Philosophy & Safeguarding

    Develop P&IDs with instrument tagging, control narratives, and interlocks. Define relief scenarios and produce PSV/flare load summary.

    Reviews: HAZOP / LOPA readiness
  • 05IFB Package & Stage-Gate

    IFB Package & Stage-Gate

    Issue the Basic Engineering Design Package with QA/QC checklist, vendor data requests, and CAPEX input for FEL stage-gate.

    Deliverable: Issued for Basic (IFB)
